The Lions have given of their time and talents not only to carry out various projects, but also to raise the funds for these projects. Over the years there have been many fund raising activities, involving all the members. The fund raisers have been hard work, but they have also been fun. The dedication and cooperation of Lansing Lions have made it possible to finance the projects for the community. The principal fund raising events include: Broom Sales, Annual July 4th Chicken BBQ, Pancake Breakfasts (two each year), Food concessions at the Town Auction and other special events.

The Lansing Lions cooperate with the Lansing Teachers Association and the Ithaca-Cayuga Rotary Club in the annual International Night BBQ which supports exchange students at Lansing High School.
